The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ousted Ali Ndume, senator representing Borno South, as Chief Whip of the Senate.
This decision was communicated in a letter read on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Wednesday during plenary.
The party also requested his resignation from the APC.
The letter was addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
