The ousted Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has arrived in the ancient city of Kano to resume his role as Emir amid tight security.
The Deputy Governor of Kano State has accused the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, of directing the return of the deposed Emir.
According to Daily Trust, Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has blamed the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for allegedly facilitating the return of the dethroned Emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero, to the palace.
Gwarzo, in a brief video interview at the Emir’s palace in Gidan Rumfa on Saturday, alleged that the NSA arranged two jets to transport Ado Bayero to Kano.
Following his dethronement by Gov. Abba Yusuf on Thursday, his whereabouts were initially unknown.
Earlier this morning, HRH Muhammad Sanusi II entered the palace of the Emir of Kano along with the Deputy Governor of Kano State.
