God revealed to me that Tinubu will lead Nigeria for 8 years – Umahi

Former governor of Ebonyi State and Minister of Works, Mr David Umahi has stated that President Bola Tinubu is destined to govern Nigeria for eight years. Umahi made this assertion during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

Umahi believes the Tinubu-led administration, inaugurated last May, is on the correct path to restoring the nation’s dignity.

He stated, “You must understand that the emergence of Mr President is divine. When God initiates something, He sees it through to completion,” he expressed on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics. “Therefore, I firmly believe and am convinced to inform you that God revealed to me that this administration will endure for eight years because this administration is ordained by God.”

“You can witness the extraordinary work that Mr President is accomplishing through divine inspiration from God Almighty who appointed him to rectify all the injustices,” the minister highlighted on the show. “Hence, we are reclaiming this country and returning it to Nigerians, and that is the purpose for which Mr President has come, and we are here to provide him with our full support.”

Additionally, Umahi discussed the progress of repair work on the Third Mainland Bridge, stating that 99 percent of it has been completed. “Once the major work is finalized, the bridge will be reopened in the near future,” the minister remarked. “When discussing the comprehensive rehabilitation of the bridge, we refer to the deck,” he explained.

“Mr President has allocated the funds, and I can confirm that 99 percent of the project has been accomplished. However, additional work remains: we are installing solar lights; we are replacing the generator lights with solar lights. “We are installing CCTV cameras both on top of the bridge and underneath it because the president informed me that part of the issue we face is individuals who are engaging in illegal sand mining. And I concur with him. I have witnessed it. They even go to the extent of damaging the concrete to secure their small boats.”

“The upper section of the deck is finished,” Umahi added, mentioning that primary markings are still underway.
