The remains of Herbert Wigwe, the esteemed CEO of Access Bank, along with his wife and son, have been repatriated to Nigeria.

Arriving at the Port Harcourt International Airport from the United States, the corpses of the Wigwe family were received on Friday, marking the beginning of their final journey home.

The funeral service for the trio is scheduled to take place on Saturday in Isiokpo, Herbert Wigwe’s hometown, situated in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Tragically, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, his son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), lost their lives in a helicopter crash at the border of Nevada and California in the US last month.

As the nation mourns their untimely passing, tributes continue to pour in for Herbert Wigwe, honoring his legacy and the impact he made during his time alive.
