As Nigeria marks Democracy Day, the Gateway Progressive Youth has reiterated its unwavering commitment to the development of the nation and the focused advancement of Ogun State. In a statement issued by its Director of Publicity, Olamide David, the group expressed strong support for government-led initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and nation-building.

The organization acknowledged the pivotal role of young people in shaping Nigeria’s democratic journey, emphasizing that the youth are not merely future leaders but active contributors to the country’s present growth.

“On this significant occasion of Democracy Day, we, the Gateway Progressive Youth, proudly affirm our commitment to the national development of Nigeria and the focused advancement of Ogun State,” the statement reads.

Under the leadership of its coordinator, Olufemi Bashorun, the group has spearheaded various programs in partnership with local authorities and stakeholders, aimed at equipping young people with the tools and opportunities needed to thrive.
