Earlier today, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State, Dr. Toyin Taiwo, received a delegation of councillors representing all 236 wards across the state at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The councillors visited on behalf of their constituencies to express their deep appreciation for the progressive leadership and commitment of the Governor, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun CON, to the development of local government administration in Ogun State.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Taiwo conveyed the Governor’s gratitude for the show of solidarity and reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to grassroots development and inclusive governance. He noted that the achievements recorded in local government areas across Ogun State are a direct result of Governor Abiodun’s strategic policies aimed at empowering local councils and improving the lives of residents.
The councillors commended the Governor for fostering growth and stability at the grassroots level, which they said has translated into improved services, infrastructure development, and stronger community engagement across the state.
Today’s visit further highlights the collaborative relationship between the state government and local councils, reinforcing Ogun State’s position as a model for effective grassroots governance in Nigeria.
