Timeless Update reports that Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that the crescent moon of Shawwal has been sighted.
As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the beginning of the new Islamic month.
The announcement was made via Haramain’s official Facebook page, a recognized platform for the global Muslim community.
“The crescent moon for the month of Shawwal 1446 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on Sunday, March 30, 2025.”
