Taofiq Kunle Sulaiman, popularly known as Wabillah, has officially delivered his first address as the newly sworn-in President of the Igbonnibi Youth Alumni Association, emphasizing a commitment to inclusivity, growth, and collective progress.

In his inaugural message, Wabillah expressed gratitude to the members of the association for their trust and support, promising to uphold democratic leadership, mentorship, welfare, and a strengthened alumni identity.

“This administration will be defined by accountability, innovation, and unity. Every decision will accentuate the aspirations of our members. No voice will be ignored, and no effort will go unnoticed,” Wabillah stated.

He commended the outgoing president, Hon. Lukman Tiamiyu Ajenikoko, and his executives for their selfless service, noting that their contributions had laid a solid foundation for future growth.

Wabillah also extended appreciation to the set chairmen from 2014 to 2020 and other supporters, including Comr. Yussuf Taofiq and Comr. Tiamiyu Sodiq, for their unwavering commitment to the association’s progress.

Special recognition was given to the Electoral Committee, led by Comr. Adeoye Ridwan Adeniyi, for conducting a transparent and credible election.

Pledging to uphold the association’s constitution, Wabillah reiterated his campaign theme of Inclusivity, assuring that every member, regardless of background or status, would have a voice in the administration.

“Welcome to a new dawn, a new era of collective growth, engagement, and transformation. Let us all come together to build a stronger, more impactful Alumni Association,” he added.

Wabillah concluded his address with a call for unity and collective aspirations to guide the association’s future.
