2025 Hajj: Ogun Begins Sale of Forms, Demands N8.5m Initial Deposit

The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the sale of forms and documentation for intending pilgrims planning to participate in the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.

 

A statement by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, advised intending pilgrims to make an initial deposit of Eight Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N8,500,000.00) only.

 

According to the statement, released on Tuesday by the Board’s Information Officer, Moriam Yusuf, the final payment will be determined by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

 

Intending pilgrims who have obtained forms are required to complete and submit them alongside other necessary documents, including photocopies of payment receipts, 10 colored passport photographs with white backgrounds, a photocopy of the Certificate of Origin, International Passport, data page, and NIN Certificate.

 

The statement urged pilgrims to complete payments and submit fully completed forms as visa processing is set to begin on Friday, February 28, 2025.
