Ex-Minister Solomon Dalung Weighs In on Bianca Ojukwu’s Ministerial Nomination by Tinubu

Solomon Dalung, a former minister, has responded to President Tinubu’s choice to nominate Bianca Ojukwu as a minister, pending Senate approval.

In a video posted by Channels TV, Dalung remarked that appointing Bianca (whom he described as the “Mother-General” of the Igbo people) as a minister demonstrates President Tinubu’s foresight and his intention to build alliances for the 2027 presidential race.

Dalung shared his hopes for improvement but voiced doubts that Tinubu’s current cabinet members possess the capacity to bring significant positive change to the nation.

According to Dalung: “Appointing Bianca, the Mother-General of the Igbo nation, shows Tinubu is setting the stage for 2027. I don’t foresee major changes occurring, as a serious approach to key issues should be evident from the outset.

The president has, however, succeeded in broadening his base by gaining allies from various parts of the country.”
