In a major political development today, the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, officially launched his governorship campaign at the Ondo Township Stadium, Ondo West Local Government Area.
The event drew supporters from across the state, who gathered to hear the governor outline his achievements and future plans.
Speaking to the crowd, Governor Aiyedatiwa detailed the accomplishments of his administration over the last 10 months, focusing on key areas such as security, infrastructural development, healthcare, agriculture, education, and youth empowerment. In a significant announcement, the governor revealed the introduction of a N73,000 minimum wage for workers in Ondo State.
In his own words, Governor Aiyedatiwa said, “To the glory of God, I flagged off my governorship campaign at the Ondo Township Stadium, Ondo West Local Government Area, today.
“While addressing the people, I highlighted the achievements of our administration over the past 10 months and I reiterated our administration’s commitment to enhancing security, infrastructural development, healthcare, agriculture, education and youth empowerment even as I announced the payment of the sum of #73,000 Minimum wage for Workers in Ondo State.
“I thank the members of our Party for their supports so far and I urge them to convert their supports to votes for our party, the APC, to ensure the continuity of developmental initiatives across the State.”
The governor concluded his speech with a rallying cry: “Ódàtiwa, Ódìrọ̀rùn!”
