The Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development has introduced a cutting-edge software application, Bleble, to enhance the management of orphanages in the state. This innovation was presented by the Country Manager of Both Ends Behaving (BEB), Mr. Sida Gyang Nyam, during a recent event.
Bleble is designed to track the movement of children between homes and provide real-time data, ensuring greater transparency and accountability in orphanage operations. The app’s introduction comes with a commendation from Dr. Gabriel Oyediji, National President of the Association of Homes and Orphanage Operators in Nigeria.
The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, highlighted that irregularities were uncovered in the operations of orphanages upon assuming office. The new app is expected to address these challenges by streamlining digital reporting and management processes.
Hon. Adeleye also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his steadfast commitment to children’s rights. She urged orphanage managers to fully adopt the technology as the state moves toward a new era of accountability and progress.
