Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has expressed his enthusiastic support for Adedimeji Lateef’s historical film, Lisabi, which vividly portrays the life and legacy of the legendary Egbaland warrior, Lisabi.

Lateef, accompanied by his wife and fellow filmmaker Adebimpe Adedimeji, met with the governor at his office in Abeokuta as part of their promotional efforts ahead of the film’s premiere in the state, prior to its global release on Netflix.

The movie Lisabi delves deeply into the rich cultural heritage of Egba land, shedding light on its traditional values and historical significance.

Lateef, already renowned for his versatility, is now further cementing his position as a socio-cultural ambassador of Ogun State.

The film is anticipated to both educate and entertain audiences, while also promoting Ogun State’s history and culture on the international stage.
