A Well-Deserved Honour: Noimot Salako-Oyedele Congratulates Hon. GNI on Islamic Title

The Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has congratulated Honourable Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), on his recent turbanning as the 3rd Seriki Adinni of Yewa Land, describing it as a well-deserved honour for a man of exemplary character and leadership.

In a statement shared on her official Facebook page, Engr. Salako-Oyedele expressed deep pride in witnessing the honour bestowed on Hon. Isiaka, whom she referred to as “my dear egbon” and commended for his “humility, discipline, and principled leadership.”

 

“It was a proud moment to witness this honour being bestowed on a man known for his humility, discipline, and principled leadership. Hon. Isiaka, the member representing Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency, has long been a shining example of service, an outstanding ambassador of Imeko, of Yewaland, and of Ogun West,” she wrote.

 

 

 

The Deputy Governor also noted the symbolic significance of the attendance of the Grand Chief Imams from all four zones of Ogun State, calling it “a symbol of unity and shared respect across our Muslim communities.”

 

She further emphasized that the honour is “more than a recognition of personal merit; it is a call to deeper service” and expressed confidence that Hon. Isiaka would embrace the responsibility “with grace, sincerity, and utter dedication.”

 

Engr. Salako-Oyedele concluded her message with prayers, saying:

 

“May Almighty Allah bless this new chapter of his service and grant him continued guidance. Barakallahu fihi. Ameen.”

 

The turbanning of Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka as Seriki Adinni is being widely celebrated across Ogun West, further cementing his status as a respected leader and unifier within the region’s religious and political spheres.
