Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu (FNCS), representing Ogun Central Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, is set to commission a 12KW 48V/200A solar power system at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre in Abeokuta.
The commissioning will take place on May 16th, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Ogun NUJ Chapter, Iwe Iroyin House, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.
The initiative highlights Senator Salisu’s commitment to supporting media infrastructure and promoting sustainable energy solutions. The event will also be attended by Alhassan Yahya Abdullahi, NUJ National President, and Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, Ogun State NUJ Chairman.
This solar installation is expected to enhance the operations of the NUJ Press Centre by providing a reliable, clean energy source.
