In a prompt and hands-on response to recent storm damage, Honourable Damilare Bello Mohammed—popularly known as Hon. Dre—has overseen the evacuation of debris from classrooms destroyed by thunderstorms in Sagamu Constituency 1, Ogun State.
The lawmaker, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption in the Ogun State House of Assembly, had visited the affected junior secondary school last week following appeals from the local community. During that visit, he assured school authorities of immediate action to clear the debris and implement temporary learning solutions.
True to his word, Hon. Bello has now facilitated the removal of the debris and initiated efforts to establish temporary classrooms. These measures aim to minimize disruptions to students’ education while longer-term reconstruction plans are developed.
This swift intervention highlights Hon. Bello’s commitment to his constituents and his proactive approach to addressing community needs, particularly in times of crisis.
