The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ogun State, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, recently hosted Ambassador Dr. Adekunle Azeez and Ambassador Dr. Doris Yaro from the Humanity Revolution of Global Cluster. The visit was centered on an innovative partnership initiative designed to empower women in agriculture.
Hon. Adeleye highlighted the delegation’s presentation of their cutting-edge platform, Global Cluster, an application aimed at guiding individuals into agriculture while promoting sustainable farming methods.
A key feature of this initiative is the promotion of organic farming techniques, including the use of organic fertilizers. This approach not only enhances food security but also improves public health and serves as a natural detox system.
Commending the efforts of the Coordinator of the Nigeria for Women Project, Mrs. Bolanle Fadiro, Hon. Adeleye emphasized the alignment of this initiative with the state’s vision of expanding opportunities for women. She noted that Ogun State, under the leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, continues to evolve as an industrial hub, making such partnerships crucial for economic growth and women’s empowerment.
