Nigeria Will Overcome Its Challenges, Says Senator Salisu in Eid Message

As the holy month of Ramadan concludes, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, representing Ogun Central in the National Assembly, has called on Nigerians to sustain the virtues of the season and continue praying for the nation’s peace and prosperity.

In a goodwill message to Muslims in Ogun State and across Nigeria, Senator Salisu emphasized the importance of adhering to the teachings of Ramadan, including discipline, generosity, and unity, to foster National Development.

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cyber Security expressed optimism that if Nigerians embrace the values of self-restraint, compassion, and faith demonstrated during Ramadan, the country will overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger.

“If every Nigerian adopts the discipline, God-consciousness, and love that define Ramadan, our Nation will rise above socioeconomic difficulties and achieve its destined greatness,” he stated.

Senator Salisu noted that Ramadan served as a period of spiritual renewal, bringing citizens closer to their faith and to one another. He commended the widespread acts of charity and solidarity witnessed during the month, urging Nigerians to sustain such gestures beyond Ramadan.

“As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, let us carry forward the spirit of compassion, unity, and service to humanity. The lessons of Ramadan remind us that after sacrifice comes joy, and Nigeria will surely rebound under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership,” he added.

The lawmaker encouraged citizens to remain hopeful and prayerful, assuring that the current economic challenges would pave the way for a brighter future.

“Let us keep faith in Nigeria’s potential and work collectively towards a prosperous nation,” Senator Salisu concluded.
