The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, Hon. Rinsola Abiola, has been honoured by the Ogun State chapter of the APC Youth League in recognition of her outstanding contributions to youth development, leadership advancement, and her consistent support for young progressives.
The honour was presented during a courtesy visit to her office at the Federal Ministry of Youth Development complex by a delegation from the APC Youth League, led by the National President and Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State, Hon. Olamide Lawal, alongside other key stakeholders of the League.
In a statement shared after the visit, Hon. Rinsola Abiola said:
“I had the pleasure of receiving a delegation from the APC Youth League, led by the National President (and SA to the Governor of Ogun State), Hon. Olamide Lawal.”
She expressed her appreciation for the honour, describing it as a humbling recognition and a motivation to do even more for the youth.
“This means a great deal to me as I am a proud daughter of Ogun State; the recognition from home thus feels very special and I pray to be able to do even more and to make our youth – and our state – proud, by God’s grace.”
“I deeply appreciate this recognition from the Ogun State APC Youth League. It serves as both an honour and a reminder of the importance of supporting and empowering young people in Ogun State and across Nigeria. I remain committed to advancing initiatives that equip our youth with the skills, opportunities, and leadership capacity they need to excel and contribute meaningfully to national development.”
Hon. Abiola also urged youths to be exemplary ambassadors of Nigeria wherever they find themselves, encouraging them to embrace leadership roles and be positive influences in their communities.
“I urge all our young people to be good ambassadors of Nigeria at all times, whether at home or abroad. Let us be responsible citizens, good leaders to those coming after us, and always strive to make meaningful contributions wherever we find ourselves.”
She further charged the youth to continue their unwavering support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing the administration’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people.
“I also call on our progressive youths to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The administration is working tirelessly to implement policies and programmes that will open doors of opportunity for young Nigerians and secure a brighter future for all.”
During the visit, the National President of the League, Hon. Olamide Lawal, presented the award plaque to Hon. Rinsola Abiola on behalf of the Ogun State coordinate, commending her dedication to empowering young leaders.
