As the Muslim faithful across the world begin the observance of Ramadan 1446 AH, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu North, Ogun State, Prince Adewale Adeshina, has extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and beyond.
In a press statement released on Friday, Adeshina emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a period of deep spirituality, self-restraint, and compassion. He urged the faithful to seize the opportunity to strengthen their faith, cleanse their hearts, and support the less privileged.
The APC stalwart expressed his appreciation to the people of Ago-Iwoye and the entire Ijebu North Local Government for their unwavering trust and support, commending their dedication to progressive ideals.
“This holy month invites us to deepen our spirituality, embrace self-restraint, and extend compassion to those around us. It serves as a precious reminder to cleanse our hearts, uplift our spirits, and offer support to those in need.
“I remain profoundly appreciative of the good people of Ago-Iwoye and the entire Ijebu North Local Government for their steadfast confidence and constant encouragement. Your perseverance and dedication to progressive ideals continue to inspire and motivate me.
“I also urge us to take advantage of this blessed season to offer prayers for our dear Ogun State and its leadership. May Allah (SWT) endow our leaders with the wisdom and strength needed to guide us towards enduring peace and development.
“In particular, let us lift up our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in prayer, asking the Almighty to grant him continued success with his ISEYA agenda as he works tirelessly to steer Ogun State on the right path.
“Once again, I extend my heartfelt wishes for a spiritually fulfilling and rewarding Ramadan. May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, fasting, and all acts of worship.”
