Akinsola Named New Patron of Ogun ICT Association, Pledges Growth and Development

The Association of Computer Dealers and ICT Technicians of Ogun State officially inducted Dr. Akinsola as its new patron during a brief ceremony held at his office in Abeokuta.

The association’s leadership, including President Comr. Onatade Babatunde (Obasoft Computers), honored Dr. Akinsola with a special gift to express their gratitude for his acceptance of the role.

Dr. Akinsola, a respected lawyer and politician, assured the association of his full support—spanning moral, financial, and technical assistance—utilizing his extensive background in both politics and law. His pledge to aid in the growth of the association was met with enthusiasm by the gathered members.

Later, the association’s leadership visited Alhaja Chief Mrs. Soltab Oloyede at her residence to celebrate her 70th birthday. During the visit, Alhaja Oloyede expressed her willingness to serve as the association’s matron and extend support to its initiatives.

The president also presented a gift to Alhaja Oloyede in honor of her special day, and the association’s members took time to congratulate her on reaching this milestone.

These developments are expected to enhance the association’s influence within Ogun State and foster partnerships with key players in the ICT sector. As the association progresses, it remains focused on advancing ICT development and empowerment across the state.

The executive council is deserving of praise for their tireless efforts and invaluable connections, which continue to contribute to the association’s success and the ongoing promotion of ICT in Ogun State.
