Lookman’s achievement places him among Nigerian football legends who have previously won this prestigious award, including Rashidi Yekini (1993), Emmanuel Amunike (1994), Kanu Nwankwo (1996, 1999), Victor Ikpeba (1997), and Victor Osimhen (2023).
