In a bid to advance digital education, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, has facilitated the establishment of an ICT Centre at Community High School, Oluke, in Ifo Local Government Area.
The project, implemented through the collaboration of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, seeks to equip students with the necessary digital skills to thrive in a tech-driven world.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cyber Security, Senator Salisu highlighted the importance of technology in driving economic development. He emphasized that the initiative is part of his vision to empower young minds with modern ICT tools, ensuring they are well-prepared for future challenges.
The ICT Centre is expected to bridge the digital divide and create opportunities for students in the community, furthering Senator Salisu’s commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth through education and technology.
