Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ogun State, attended the NextGeneration Project, a youth reorientation program designed to empower secondary school students across the state.

The initiative was conveyed by Rinsola Abiola, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, and reflects a strong commitment to nurturing responsible and proactive future citizens.

In her remarks, Hon. Adeleye noted, “It was truly inspiring to interact with these young minds, as I encouraged them to prioritize formal education while also acquiring essential skills that could enhance their future independence and adaptability in today’s world.” She emphasized the importance of combining academic knowledge with vocational expertise, stating, “The young people have limitless potential, and it is vital they recognize the power of education and skill acquisition as tools for personal and societal transformation.”

Hon. Adeleye also highlighted the current administration’s initiatives, particularly scholarships that empower young girls to enter technical and vocational sectors. “I commend the organizers for their dedication to fostering these opportunities, setting an example of excellence and commitment to youth development,” she added, praising the program’s efforts to prepare youths for future challenges.
