The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has instructed telecom operators to promptly reconnect all phone lines that were blocked during the NIN-SIM verification process.
The NCC issued this directive in a statement on Monday, signed by the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Reuben Muoka.
“Reconnected users should note that this is for a limited time to allow proper linking of their NIN to their SIM,” the commission stated.
