A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter reportedly crashed early Monday morning in Tami village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Local residents reported hearing a loud crash around 5:00 AM and rushed to the scene where they found the pilot emerging from the wreckage.

“Military personnel from the Nigerian Air Force quickly arrived to secure the area and begin an initial investigation.”

“They have cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of nearby villagers. Initial assessments are underway to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown at this time,” said a local resident.

As of the time of reporting, the Nigerian Air Force had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
