In celebration of the 2024 Eid al-Adha (Ileya festival), and in his ongoing effort to connect with his federal constituency during this period, the member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda federal constituency, Rt Hon Olumide Osoba, has distributed bags of rice across the three local governments in his district.

Four hundred recipients from his constituency received ₦50,000 each to celebrate this year’s Ileya Festival. The recipients include ward vice chairmen, treasurers, organizing secretaries, financial secretaries, P.R.O.s, welfare officers, legal advisers, and leaders of the physically challenged.

He also distributed bags of rice to all wards in his constituency, as well as rice and cash gifts to all local government executives.

Some beneficiaries of this act of kindness expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Rt Hon Olumide Osoba, describing him as a savior who always comes to their aid unexpectedly and whenever the need arises.
