APC e-Register Now Mandatory for Appointments, Says Ganduje

Ahead of upcoming elections, APC national chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje declared that only those listed on the party’s digital register will qualify for political appointments.

Ganduje announced this on June 5 at the e-membership registration workshop in Abuja.

Training for the Digital Shift

The workshop trained 109 participants, including representatives from all 36 states and the FCT, to kickstart the e-registration.

Ganduje stated that the party will no longer use the manual register, emphasizing the need for a digital record.

Call for Nationwide Participation

Ganduje urged all Nigerians to join the party through the e-registration once it begins.

Existing and new members must provide biometric data matching their National Identity Number (NIN).

Technological Support Sought

Ganduje requested technical assistance from the Ministries of Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy to support the e-registration.

He appealed to the workshop trainees to share their knowledge with others in their states to ensure the project’s success.

Commitment to Digital Transformation

The chairman reaffirmed his commitment to setting new standards in Nigeria’s democracy and sustaining the APC government.

The National Organising Secretary, represented by Nze Chidi Duru, stated that the launch silences skeptics and shows the party’s dedication to digital registration.

Comprehensive Digital Solution

Project coordinator Samuel Adedapo Adedoyin highlighted the portal as a solution to traditional registration inefficiencies, providing a unified and user-friendly interface for members and administrators.
