The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Soyannwo, has passed away following a brief illness.
Soyanwo, aged 55, reportedly collapsed and passed away a few hours later.
Medical professionals pronounced him deceased at a hospital where he was taken after collapsing.
Reports indicate that the deceased, who had served alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu since his first term in 2019, had experienced a partial stroke over the weekend.
