Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has named Pelumi Nubi, a Nigerian based in the UK who embarked on a remarkable journey from Lagos to London, as a Tourism Ambassador for Lagos State.
During a meeting with Pelumi Nubi, the travel content creator, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised her adventurous spirit and dedication to promoting tourism. He revealed that the state would cover all her travel expenses, provide her with a new apartment, and furnish her with a car.
Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Sanwo-Olu, shared the announcement on social media.
“By appointing Pelumi Nubi as a Tourism Ambassador, we aim to inspire others with her adventurous spirit and highlight the beauty of Lagos to the global audience,” said the governor.
