A sand-laden truck caused the demise of two individuals in Idi-Mango area along Ore-Okitipupa road, Ore, Odigbo LGA, Ondo State.

Mrs. Yetunde Adesina, Ore Unit Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), verified the event to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Adesina cited the involvement of a Mark truck (RBC 05 XL) and a Haojue Red Suzuki motorcycle (GBA 254 QA). She confirmed the loss of two unidentified individuals.

Eyewitnesses reported that the victims, riding a commercial motorcycle, erred in maneuvering, resulting in the fatal collision with the truck.

“The deceased (two males) have been transported to Ore General Hospital morgue,” she stated. Adesina cautioned motorcyclists against reckless behavior and improper overtaking.

The truck driver absconded, and authorities relocated the truck to Ore Divisional Police headquarters.
