Ogun Security Corps Apprehend Four Burglars

The Ogun Community Security Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have apprehended four individuals suspected of burglarizing a residential apartment in Ado Odo Local Government Area of the State.

In a press release issued by the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, and conveyed by Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf on Tuesday, it was revealed that the arrest took place around 12:08 hrs on 22nd March 2024.

Officers from the Igere-Ihunsa Divisional Command, led by Assistant Commander Adebesin Lukmon, under the supervision of Agbara Area Commander in Ado Ota Local Government Area, responded to a distress call during their routine patrol.

Ganzallo confirmed that the swift response led to the apprehension of four suspects believed to be part of a robbery syndicate. The arrested individuals, residents of Lusada Town, were identified as Mubarak Sheu, Usman Umar, Naura Abubakar, and Aba Rabiu.

It was disclosed that the suspects were caught at Block F, Plot 13, Future Expansion, OPIC Estate, Agbara, while in the act of vandalizing conduit wires, cables, and sockets. This was not the first instance of criminal activity by the suspects at the said location.

Various items, including conduit wires, cables, and sockets valued at over five million naira, were recovered from the suspects.

Ganzallo reiterated that the suspects, along with the recovered items, have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Agbara Divisional Police Headquarters, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
