Delta Militant Reveals True Motive Behind Soldiers’ Deaths

In a recent viral video alleges that tensions between the Okuama and Okoloba communities escalated due to the involvement of Ijaw individuals, allegedly supported by governmental forces, in crude oil operations.

The militant asserted that these individuals, purportedly aided by the military, betrayed their own community members.

He emphasized that deploying soldiers to favor specific factions exacerbated divisions within the communities. He revealed that due to fear of their leaders’ arrest, the youth resorted to drastic measures.

The militant clarified that the soldiers’ fatalities were preemptive actions to prevent the abduction of community leaders. He emphasized that the soldiers weren’t engaged in peacekeeping, contrary to previous claims, but were representing undisclosed interests.

He noted that on the day of the soldiers’ demise, they arrived purportedly to apprehend community leaders, prompting the youth to perceive that surrendering the leaders would diminish their influence.

“That’s the crux of the matter – some parties alleged the soldiers were deployed for peacekeeping purposes. However, to set the record straight, no military presence was for peacekeeping; rather, they operated on behalf of unidentified entities,” he asserted.

“This marks my final video; my father, a retired army captain, passed away last year, and I’ve mourned the loss of over six friends and relatives in Nigeria.

“So, if you will, escalate the situation. If the Federal Government chooses to label me a fugitive, I embrace it proudly. You demand to see my face; but if I reveal it, what action will you take?”
