In a startling development, bandits operating in Kaduna have demanded an unprecedented ransom of N40 trillion along with 11 Hilux vans and 150 motorcycles for the release of 16 residents abducted from the Gonin Gora area.

According to community leader John Yusuf, the bandits have contacted family members of the victims, escalating their demands after two successive attacks within a week.
