The Henley Passport Index, Nigerians can now explore 45 countries visa-free, as per their latest rankings. Despite this, Nigeria ranks 95th out of 104 countries listed with powerful passports.
The Henley Passport Index relies on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and research from Henley & Partners. According to their findings, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Morocco, Benin Republic, and Namibia surpass Nigeria in passport power, ranking at 76th, 83rd, 67th, 65th, 71st, 79th, and 65th respectively.
Among the countries Nigerians can visit visa-free are Barbados, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde Islands, Chad, Comoro Islands, Cook Islands, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Kenya, Kiribati, Lebanon, Liberia, Madagascar, Maldives, Mali, Mauritiana, Mauritius, Micronesia, Montserrat, Mozambique, Niger, Niue, Palau Islands, Rwanda, Samoa, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, St. Kitts and Nevis, The Gambia, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
